Our Staff

Rev. Bev Rice Swayze is a Washington State native.  A graduate of Whitworth College and Princeton Theological Seminary, she served as a Presbyterian Mission Co-Worker working with street kids in Sao Paulo Brazil prior to becoming co-pastor at Covenant. Bev is also a volunteer chaplain with Prince William County Police Department.. Bev loves to knit, listen to audiobooks, exercise and travel.  She is the proud mother of two adult children and the adoring grandma to one grandson.

Rev. Knox Swayze grew up in Brazil until age 15.  A graduate of Belhaven College and Princeton Theological Seminary, he served as a Presbyterian Mission Co-Worker working with street kids in Sao Paulo Brazil prior to becoming co-pastor at Covenant.  Knox also volunteers weekly at ACTS food bank in Eastern Prince William County  Knox loves to play the guitar and harmonica, ride his bicycle, take his dog on walks and paint.  He is the proud father of two adult children and E-Daddy to his grandson.
