Just as you did it to one of the least of these, who are my brothers and sisters, you did it to me. Matthew 25:40
Covenant’s evangelism (Greek word meaning good news) is experienced through sharing the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed with all the world. Covenant seeks to alleviate hunger, foster self-development, respond to disasters, support mission works, preach the gospel, heal the sick and educate new generations for the future. We welcome you to join in these activities and grow in the love and understanding of Christ. A few areas representing where we serve are listed below:
ACTS (Action in Community Through Service). Over 50 years ago, ACTS’ founders began addressing the most basic human needs of food and shelter throughout our local community. Covenant is one of the 13 founding churches! Volunteer and donate to this important program today!
Hilda Barg and Overnight Shelters. Sign up to periodically provide meals to County drop-in shelters, as part of the local community of churches.
Covenant Keepers. Help local county residents in need by lending a hand with small handyman projects that can mean so much.
Mission Trips. Join annual mission trips to locations such as North Carolina, and Kentucky to aid disaster victims get back on their feet.
Living in Northern Virginia means our time is probably our most valuable commodity. By serving others at Covenant you can be certain your time is not being wasted. Most of our members will tell you they get more out of the experience than they could ever contribute. Get Involved!
